Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid's mom is Chinese and was raised within Vietnam. Winston Barrett Munn comes from the American South. Olivia was only 2 when her parents split up. She was raised by her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was also a United States Air Force member. While the family left Oklahoma and resided in many areas, she was raised at Tokyo, Japan. It was where she appeared in stage productions in this time as well as becoming a models for the Japanese industry. Olivia returned in Los Angeles after the family's returning back to the United States. She pursued her dream of being an actor. Olivia's acting career took off after a couple of tiny role. She landed the part of Mily in the series with a Hawaii lens Beyond the Break (2005) as well as the role of receptionist in the film Big Stan starring Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). She is the host of G4's podcasts "The Daily Nut" as well as "Formula D". She enjoys surfing and has been practicing since she saw the TV show Beyond the Break (2006). Black belts are hers in the martial art of taekwondo. In the year she turned two old her mother remarried but this time to a member of the US Air Force. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather was a member. Attended at the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in journalism and minored in Japanese and dramatic arts.
