Lita Rossana Ford (also also known by the name Lita Ford) is a British born American singer on guitar who took as the lead vocalist in The Runaways a female hard rock band in the 70s. They gained attention for their rebellious songs and punk-rock design. Although the band did not achieve much success in America however they became extremely popular in other countries. This was especially true in Japan. Ford had a long and prosperous career as a solo heavy metal musician after the group broke up from 1979. Re-emerging with release of "Black" from 1995 as well as "Wicked Wonderland" which came out almost fifteen years later. "Time Capsule," her debut album "Time Capsule" was released in the year 2016 by her. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
