Andra Day and Andi Matichak
Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally referred to as Andra day is an American R&B artist and singer. She has won the Grammy Award and Children's and Family Emmy Award. Golden Globe Award as well as Academy Award nominations are also some of her awards. Andra isn't only a throwback R&B performer, but her gospel jazz roots and blues is presented in a manner that's effortless and sophisticated. Her first album, Cheers To The Autumn (2015) was an instant success in the genre of R&B/hiphop and led to a number of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Stand Up for Something (2017) Her contribution to Marshall's soundtrack was awarded both of these awards. Amen (2018), Take Your Troubles go Away (2020) and their Golden Globe winning portrayal of Billie Holiday (The United States vs. Billie Holiday 2021) are all contributing to her anticipation of her next album. Andra Day is the daughter of Cassandra Monique Batie and grew in Edmonds Washington. While in San Diego, she attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts and sang at the Church. When she was a teenager she listened to modern R&B music, and later pop. However, her heart was always drawn to classical soul and jazz vocalists. Kai Millard Morris caught her show and offered the music of Day to Stevie Wonder. Motown famous Adrian Gurvitz was introduced to Day by the Motown legend. Day, allied with Gurvitz's Buskin label and Jeffrey Evans' Buskin record company, built a following on YouTube and signed by Warner Bros. in 2012. Day then released her first song Forever Mine. DJs quickly played it on the radio. After that, she joined Warner Bros. Records and started working with producer Adrian Gurvitz to record her debut album Cheers to the fall (2015). The album featured Rise Up which is now a worldwide music video for social justice campaigns. Day was awarded two Grammy nominations in the categories of Best R&B Album for her album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday was her second studio album, released in 2019 and an album that was conceptually based on Billie Holiday's life. The following year she was a part on screen in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2020), which is a biopic about Holiday's life. Andi Matichak is a famous American actor. Her career began in the television series Orange Is the New Black, 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her first film role was in the role of Allyson in the horror show Halloween. Andi Mattichak was born the 3rd of May, 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts.
