Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is an American book author, who has been awarded Emmy award. She hosts the oldest Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa. The show began in 2002. It will air for another 27 years. Ina Garten started her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget documents. In the beginning, she found her work interesting and stimulating but eventually lost interest and bought a small grocery store that was named Barefoot Contessa. It took her nearly 18 years to make the shop hugely successful, and then decided to sell the business. Then she began writing the first of many cookbooks. Several other books and magazines followed. Meanwhile her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became a huge success. Her products range from cooking equipment, to food items and storage containers. Ina is not a student at any cooking school, nor employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. She is known for her straightforward style of cooking as well as her easy approach to entertainment. Her most famous recipes are Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
