Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actress singer and writer. Sara Ramirez was brought up with her American mother. She was subjected to a variety of racist taunts and caused her to feel uncomfortable. When she went to a school competition and received the highest praise for her singing, in ninth grade she began to feel more confident. This not only increased her confidence but her ambitions were changed. At the age of 22, she received her degree from in the Julliard School of New York. Her professional career began at the age of 23 in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and The You've Got Mail film. But her biggest break came when she appeared in the character in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the first Broadway performance of Spamalot garnering not only the Tony Award for her performance but also great critical acclaim. In the year following, she appeared on the ABC show Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider appreciation for her performance. As a professional singer, she's also produced a single as well as an extended piece. She also works as an LGBT activist.
